ASSISTANCE
If you are a resident of Caledonia and are in need of assistance,
you can call (905)765-9287 to set up an appointment.
The appointment intake time will initially take about 10 to 15 minutes, to assess various needs of each household. We understand how it can be difficult to ask for help, but our volunteers are friendly and welcoming and are here to help. We have information and referrals for many other support systems available.
All information is for statistical purposes and kept confidential.
We are able to offer various foods, including some dairy products, infant and children’s products (including diapers, formula), frozen meat, and when available some fresh produce, and toiletry items. Recipes are also offered. Items needed are circled by the clients on a choice sheet. Our volunteers fill grocery bags with the items that are chosen and often will add extra goodies if available, such as cookies etc. Once the order has been filled, the clients pick up their groceries and can be on their way, or access further assistance from various other programs offered by the Community Support Centre, located in the same building.
We have a close partnership with the Community Support Centre and its programs, that benefit our clients.
